I remember a time when I helped a friend when he got hurt.  He was happy.  Some people think that the story Stone Fox is about Little Willy getting $500.00 but it is really about caring for others.

At the start of the story, Little Willy, his grandfather and his dog are very happy because grandfather said their crop was the best ever.  Sadly, one day grandfather does not get out of bed because he can’t pay his taxes.  Little Willy is determined to make him well.

At the end of the story, Little Willy wins the dogsled race and gets $500.00.
